New Years Resolution

I had no idea how long it had been since I last used this blog. Since we are now living so far away from family, I have decided to start keeping up the blog again as my New Years Resolution. Hopefully, I'll actually keep it up (0;

Today Michael is still recovering from a cold, so he and I stayed home from service today. It was pretty much a lazy day, but I decided to make a batch of cookies for when Daddy and brother got home. I found a recipe online that used cake mix to make cookies. Here is the recipe I used in case you want to use it to:

1 box - Betty Crocker SuperMoist chocolate fudge cake mix
2 tbsp - vegetable oil
1 tsp - vanilla
2 - eggs
1/2 cup - Heath pieces
1/2 cup - butter

Michael is 6 months!

Last week Michael got to eat food for the first time! He loved it! He didn't even make an "eww that's gross" face that the other kids made. He also had his 6 month doctors appointment and he weighed 18lbs 12oz (no wonder my back is always hurting). He has started growling (like Andrew used to) when he is hungry. Sniff, sniff, my baby is getting big!

Our Birthday!

For our birthday we spent the day at the beach! it was a great day and we had so much fun (even though it was chilly). Andrew & Larry made a sand alligator (okay, mostly Larry, but Andrew tried to help).

Look at me!

Michael is the center of attention right now, because if he isn't he is not happy lol. He loves to sit in his playcenter and stand up with mommy's help. He laughs and smiles a lot now.

Our Trip to the Oakland Zoo

Auntie Shanna came in to visit the kids, so we took a trip over to the Oakland Zoo. Andrew had a lot of fun telling auntie about all the animals and the noises they make!

TCPG Fun!

We're having lots of fun with our playgroup...although we are working on sharing lately. He used to be so good about sharing...ahhh the terrible twos...I guess I can't complain if this is as bad as he is going to get. Our group had a great BBQ with a "party like a rock star" theme. Andrew loved the blow up guitars. We also had fun making a choo-choo out of cardboard boxes.
